Why Jigawa State is open for develoment partnerships –Gov Badaru

The Jigawa State government has expressed readiness for institutional reforms to create atmosphere for partnership between the state government and development partners for effective and efficient service delivery.
The Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji  Muhammad  Badaru Abubakar made the declaration at the inauguration of Jigawa State Cares Steering Committee (SCSC)  on Wednesday in Dutse, saying his administration is open to ideas and opportunities  that will enhance the development of Jigawa.
He commended  members of the steering committee for working tirelessly since 2020  during the peak of Covid -19 pandemic along specific indicators to access a two –year $20milllion ,urging members of the SCSC to double their efforts in the implementation of the  project indices .
Earlier in his remarks Chairman of the committee represented by the Permanent secretary  Budget and Planning, Alhassan Ibrahim Marke  stated that the federal government team have visited the state and find it ready to kick start the project , adding that the operation manual would be unveiled soon after it domestication.
The Steering Committee composes of commissioners of works, commerce, agriculture, Special adviser on empowerment, permanent secretaries of Health and budget and the Coordinator of the project would serve as the secretary of the committee.
In another development, the Executive Governor of Jigawa State , Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has sworn in his Special Adviser on Media and Public Relations, Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila.
Mr Kila  a veteran journalist was until his appointment the general manager Radio Nigeria Horizon FM Dutse and Vice President of Nigerian Guild of Editors.
Speaking to newsmen after his swearing in, Alhaji Habibu pledege renewed cordial relation with journalist in and outside the State ,urging media men to give him maximum cooperation as the chief image maker of Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubukar .
