The leadership of Izala sect, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah, also known as JIBWIS, in Gombe has distanced the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami, for having llinks with a terror group.

The state Chairman of the Izala organizasion, Engineer Salisu Muhammad Gombe, made this known in Gombe, while briefing journalist on the allegations against the minister by the foreingn country, linking him with terror.

“The said allegations is not true it is Injustice to the Minister because he’s doing what some people don’t like, being an islamic shoolar from the north and perform wonderfully well,” he added.

According to him, Dr. Isa Ali, was a Man that Excelled in his life, which he spent years lecturing at a renown Islamic University in Madina.

He said because of Dr. Pantami’s positive contributions at the institution that President Muhammad Buhari, spotted and brought him back to serve his Nigeria, with his appointment as the DG of NITDA and subsequently the Minister, who was now generating huge money as revenue to the government of the federation.

Sallisu said when the terror group emerged as a sect, Boko Haram, Dr. Pantami single handedly come out and faced the then leader of the group, Muhammad Yusuf, telling him that what they did was unIslamic.

He is wondering why some elements would now link Dr. Pantami with the same group he criticized ealier, which said did not want the development of this country.

Salisu is therefore urging Dr. Pantami not to be distracted or be discouraged from the development he brought to this country, because of the allegations.
