The Vice Chancellor of Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Professor Alhaji Musa Shehu on Friday says, they are expecting to host nearly 119 universities Vice Chancellors and other stakeholders in the nation’s Higher Education system.
Professor Shehu who disclosed this to newsmen at the university during a press conference says, this year’s edition of the Association of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities conference was decided to take place at KUST Wudil Campus between Monday 12th June – 15th June, 2021.
The Conference, which is the 35th of its kind will address issues of funding opportunities that will enable the university to improve its digital learning capacity, artificial intelligence as well as quantum studies for the entire Nigerian Universities.
He says, the occasion is expected to be open by the visitor of the institution and governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and chaired by the university’s Pro-Chancellor, A.B Mahmoud SAN.
“The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Ibrahim Garba, the former Vice Chancellor of Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil and the immediate past Voce Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.”
According to him, other special guests that will grace the occasion include, TET Fund Boss, Professor Bogoro, NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed and other dignitaries within and outside the country.
