Kano State Government has promoted 140 workers in the mainstream of the civil servants in the months of May 2021.
This was contained in a statement issued to PRIME TIME NEWS on Saturday and signed by the Chief Public Relations Officer at Kano State Civil Service Commission, Ismail Garba Gwammaja.
According to Gwammaja, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Engr Bello Mohammad Kiru disclose this on Saturday shortly after the routine meeting for senior staff promotion exercise and displinary cases held at the conference hall of the commission.
Kiru enjoined all the staffers of the commission to resume work fully as directed by the state government to ensure effective service delivery at the commission, chairman emphasised.
The Chairman noted with appreciation the zeal and commitment showcase by the staff of the commission expecially during the lockdown period, hoping that the tempo would be sustained now that there is no any restrictions to work.
Responding, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Engr. Mohammad Adamu musa expressed delight for the cordial relationship among members of the commission without rancour.
He however urged them to continue with the good work while the management is working on modalities to address some of the notable challenges bedevilling the smooth running of the commission endocourse.
Engr Adamu also charged the department responsible for the brief and other materials for the commission meeting to make it available prior to the date of the meeting for validation and scrutiny purpose he urged.
