The Joint admission and Matriculation Board, has extended the 2021 UTME registration period for the next two weeks.
Following the closure of the UTME Examination Registration and the DE University Admission Directive by the Jamb Board on Saturday, May 29, the Jamb Board has now extended the deadline by two weeks. Registration for Students who have experienced Profile code issues, and have evidence that this occurred prior to the date on which the Board closed the Registration Registration last Saturday,
The statement came from the agency’s information officer, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, yesterday Monday,
Benjamin added: “The Jamb Board has given a deadline from Monday, May 29, to June 15, for students who have experienced the problem of opening a Profile with Profile Code, and Visit the Jamb Offices (not their CBT Centers), located in any region across the country, with the following steps:
“(I) After the Student Visits the Office he will be given a form to fill out his details, with proof that he tried to open the Jamb Profile, before the closing date of registration, but it was impossible;
“(II) The Student then deposits N4,000 in the Jamb Board Fund (on behalf of the Board) and then takes the Teller to the Jamb Board Office to be signed;
The Student then returns the completed form with his / her photo, to the Office that received the form in the first place;
The student then goes home, waiting for the message to be sent to him by the board at his registered phone number, after completing the verification of the information and the evidence he has provided, and then the board will issue a Notice of the matter.
