Insecurity: Gbong Gwom Jos tasks House of Reps to find lasting solution

The Chairman Plateau State Traditional Council of chiefs and Emirs, and the Gbong Gwom of Jos His Royal Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba has urged the Federal House of Representatives members to find a lasting solution to the challenges of insecurity facing the country.

Da Buba Stated this on Tuesday when the House Reps Committee on Industry paid him a Courtesy visit at his Palace in Jishe Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

He appealed to the National Assembly to take a critical look at the insecurity challenges in the country.

According to him “Please i want to beg you to take critical look at the insecurity, challenges in the country by finding lasting solution to all the insecurity in the country, just few days ago 12 of my subjects were killed by unknown gunmen in Kuru District”.

The Traditional ruler while speaking on lawmakers oversight functions to the industrial Training Fund ITF said the agency is one of the most successful organ of the Federal Government that it producing effective result.

He commended the Effort and fucus of the Director General of the ITF Sir Joseph Ari for achieving the mandate of establishing the agency.

Earlier the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Industry and Member Representing Lagos Island 1 Federal Constituency Hon. Enitan Dolapo Badru who led other members including the DG of ITF sir Joseph Ari pledge to provide employment opportunities to the teeming youths through supporting the ITF delivering on their mandate.

Hon. Badru described the Gbong Gwom Jos as an epitome selfless service to Nigeria.

“We came to Jos on oversight functions to the industrial Training Fund ITF and we cannot start our oversight without informing you as our father, so we are here to seek for your blessings to achieve our mandate”

He promised that the House committee on Industry will support the ITF to touch the lives of youths and women by providing employment opportunities to Nigerians.
