The executive secretary, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Yobe State, Alhaji Bukar Kime Damaturu, has been conferred with the traditional Tittle of ‘Aji Sudani’ of Damaturu emirate.
The Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji (Dr) Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Amin El- Kanemi FCAN, FIAMN, approved the conferment of the traditional tittle on Alhaji Bukar Kime based on his contribution to the emirate and Damaturu as a whole.
The Tittle of ‘Aji Sudani’, is a traditional tittle given to a close and trustworthy person who is also a high ranking traditional adviser and Ambassador to the Emir since during the Elkanemi dynasty to date .
The Emir said, the traditional title was conferred on him due to his meritorious acts of services to humanity as well as his concern to the general development of Damaturu Local Government Council, Damaturu Emirate Council, Yobe State and by extension the entire Nation.
The Emir advised the new ‘Aji Sudani’ to observe the rules and regulations of the traditional institutions and to justify the confidence reposed in him.
He enjoyed him to continue to support the emirate and bring more development to the Institution.
