The speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Engr. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has charged people in the state and entire country to dedicates themselves on prayers leading to the solutions to tame the tides of insecurity, economic recovery and threat of COVID-19 in the new year 2021.
In a statement made available to PRIME TIME NEWS on Saturday and signed by Nura Bala Ajingi, the Chief Press Secretary at Kano House of Assembly says, the speaker made the remarks on his new year message.
Hon. Hamisu Chidari who described 2020 as a year of challenges to humanity due COVID-19 pandemic and insecurity in the country, he charged them to do more on the solutions for the betterment of the future.
The speaker also called on people to focus on Agricultural activities for food security, self-reliance for speedy economic revival.
He canvassed for more support to remarks security agencies from the public, he later congratulated governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his deputy Dr Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, five emirate councils led by Emir of Kano Alh. Aminu Ado Bayero and entire people in the state for witnessing the new year 2021.
The speaker however prays for future, positive development in the state and Nigeria at large.
