LGAs Elections: Kano Speaker Urges Youths To Maintain Peace


The speaker Kano State House of Assembly has called on APC supporters and the entire electorate to ensure massive turnout and conduct themselves peacefully on local government election comes up on 16 Jan 2021.

In a statement issued to PRIME TIME NEWS on Wednesday and signed by the Press Secretary at Kano State House of Assembly, Nura Bala Ajingi says, the speaker stated this while receiving political organisations from Makoda and Danbatta localities who paid him a courtesy visit at the house.

Rt. Engr. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari who appreciated the dedication of Supervisory councillors and advisers of Makoda as well as that of APC Kano North Youth Alliance, Kano Progressive Media Network, Kano Youth Political Forum and Chidari reporters for his victory and that of Governor Ganduje. He charged them to do more for a better and promising future of Kano South.

The speaker then pledged to make more supports on education, health, water supply and construction of roads in his constituency.

Earlier, the heads of respective unions Auwalu Rufa’i Tukui, Musbahu Mohd, Basiru Yusuf Shuwaki, Engr. Tasi’u Mohd who congratulated him for his assumption speakership position, they also assured him more support in 2023 general elections.

Similarly, the Makoda/Danbatta Hamisu Alheri ne led by Auwalu Bala Maitsidau that of Kadandani community headed by Mohd Idris and their counterparts of Tasame led by Maharazu Maileda and of Shiddar Gwarabjawa led by Umar Idris has assured to step up for more efforts towards the success of the speaker and APC.
