2021: PRP Salutes Nigerians, Berates President Buhari’s Failure To Fulfill Campaign Promises


The Peoples Redemption Party PRP has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of the New Year, 2021.

In a letter personally signed by the Party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Alhaji Falalu Bello, OFR and issued to PRIME TIME NEWS on Wednesday evening by the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdul-Kadir Abubakar Kurawa.

The PRP described the year 2020 as one of the most challenging time in the history of the world, as it was enclosed with issues to do with health and economic meltdown as well as crashing of businesses.

“The year 2020 has been one of the most difficult years, not only for Nigeria, but the world over. The COVID-19 pandemic with its associated economic, social and healthcare challenges have indeed been traumatic for all.” The statement said.

The party recalled with sympathy how Nigerians have suffered over the years of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, “we cannot forget our controversial voyage of difficulties and regrets that this administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Party (APC) piloted us through since 2015.” It added.

Mr Falalu urged President Buhari and the ruling APC to focus on addressing the challenges of citizens’ well-being, and not playing blame game over the failures they have subjected Nigerians into.

The PRP says, Nigerians should hold “Mr Integrity’s” administration responsible for what it termed the ills that have befallen on the citizens, urging them to commit themselves to the promotion of a united country, a democratic order and a just, prosperous and forward-looking society.

It however called on Nigerians to join hands and support its ideas in the pursuit and struggle for the realization better Nigeria ahead.

The party however wished Nigerians a successful new year celebrations and prosperous Nigeria.
