Secondary Schools, Gombe, has justified the vision of her founding Fathers for quality education with real life experience.
NAMIS started her End of Term Programme with a visit to the Plenary Session of the State House of Assembly on Thursday, 17th December, 2020 .
The event came to climax on Friday, 18th December, 2020, with various students presentations and academic awards, which characterized the ceremony at the Multipurpose Hall of the prestigious School.
In his speech during the occasion, the School Consultant Ibrahim Mustapha advised students to be more hardworking, stressing that despite the devastating effects of Covid-19 pandemic on some private schools nearly collapsing, ”the proprietress of NAMIS is seriously committing resources into the institution, repackaging it with modern facilities to ensure that Muslim children have intellectual milieu, very conducive for learning and living Islam.
“Our expanded curriculum and outstanding facilities will no doubt enhance access to quality instruction and values to create social and emotional stability which facilitate and accelerate students learning in general areas of education (mathematics, science,language, arts etc) so that they can have the right foundations for future consolidation in academics with moral uprightness”.
In her welcome speech, the School Manager – Hajia Hassana Lado, thanked Allah for another successful academic term, despite the covid-19 pandemic distortion of the school calendar for 2019/2020.
She added that the management of the school would continue to promote standard and discipline, so that the vision of the board would be realised.
She thereafter urged everyone to listen carefully to all the presentations billed for the occasion.
The principal of the school, mallam Garba Sule, thanked teachers and students for their cooperation and appealed for more commitment of teachers and students to effective teaching and learning.
Various presentations, such as significance of seeking knowledge, Indiscipline, I stand with Nigeria, Kindness, Education, My noble School etc were made.
Some presentations, were also made by students in Arabic.
Prizes were given to outstanding students in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Economics, Agric, Business Studies etc.
