President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Katsina asked the security operatives in the country tonexpos the criminal contributing to insecurity in the country.
The president pledged never to betray the truth reposed in him by Nigerians, assured that said he was very worried about the security situation in some parts of the country.
Addressing the 344 students of Government Science Secondary school Kankara at the Presidential wing of Katsina Government House, explained that ”It is our responsibility to secure this country for all the citizens”.
Buhari whose voice is sounding weak, recalled his life at the age of 9, advised the Kankara schoolboys to concentrate on their knowledge, especially on science and technology.
He also implored the Kankara school Boys not to be discouraged in their studies, stating that ‘Don’t be traumatised with this incident, wake up to continue undergoing your studies especially on the study of science and technology ‘.
The president replied to the opposition saying that this happened when he was on his vacation at Daura, and also reiterated the commitment of his administration to continue to provide all needed support to the security agencies to enable them discharge their responsibilities diligently.
The president, who stated that the efforts of the nation’s security agencies were not good enough, charged the security officials to redouble their efforts in protecting the lives and property of the citizens.
Also speaking, Governor Aminu Masari said the released students were subjected to hardship and forced to trek in the night on bare feet.

The governor said security is everyone’s business and hopes people will continue to support the security agencies.
