No fewer than three persons have been reportedly killed by suspected kidnappers at Gwa-Pwana village in Vwang District of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Our correspondent gathered that the gunmen invaded the village on Tuesday night and shot one vigilante and two others while one woman is still missing.
An eye witness in the village who gave his name as Dauda James said the gunmen who are suspected to be herdsmen, invaded the village in the night and shot three persons.
According to him. Some people have been sent to the bush for searching to know if the woman was killed and dump there.
Despite thorough search, she has not been found, but only saw her laptop and other materials but no one has contacted the family for ransom. He added.
Reacting to the incident, Police Public Relations officer, Assistant Supritendant of Police (ASP) Gabriel Ubah confirmed the incident and said it was a case of gunshots at Vom that led to the death of three persons.
He however said Investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances behind the incidence.
According to him, the Area at the moment is calm and people are going about their normal activities.
