Kano CP Celebrates One Year In Office, Expresses Resilient Commitment To Protect Lives

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr  Habu Sani has on Saturday distributed relief materials to orphans in Kano.

The gesture, according to Mr Habu Sani, was part of his celebration for his one year anniversary as the state’s commissioner of police.
PRIME TIME NEWS learnt that the police Commissioner had also sponsored scores of orphans for various acquisition skills.
Speaking at the event, Mr Habu expressed resilient commitment to maintain the status of peaceful coexistence in Kano, emphasising that Kano remained the most peaceful state in Nigeria.
Over 200 orphans living in Hotoro Orphanage benefitted from the gesture.
In a seperate occasion, Mr Sani has held a press conference in the state police headquarters on Saturday.
The commissioner of police stated some of the major achievements e recorded throughout the year, ranging from his effort to end all sorts of criminal activities across the state.
He said the police had succeeded in arresting hundreds of suspected criminals who specialized in armed robbery and snatching phones in Kano.
“We’ve arrested over 150 people suspected to be kidnappers and rescued scores from their captives.”  Mr Habu  Sani said.
He said that his men have also succeeded in recovering substances suspected to be Indian Hemp worth over N27m from dealers.
Speaking on the recent #EndSARS protests in the country,  Mr Habu expressed gratitude that the police had contained the situation.
