BREAKING : Police rescues Another Man locked for 15 years in Kano


Again, Kano state Police command on Sunday rescued a man allegedly held captive by his father for 15-years, three days after he rescued another man held for 7 years in the state by his father and stepmother.

The rescued man, Ibrahim Lawan, 35 years old who had been confined to a room for 15 years. 

His father, Mallam Lawan is a Friday Mosque Chief imam. 

The incident occurred at  Sheka Unguwar Fulani for that length of time without allowing him to even enjoy any sunlight.

The victim was rescued by the Police Medical Team and Operatives of Operation Puff Adder.

Spokesman of Kano State Police Command, Mr Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident to PRIME TIME NEWS in Kano on Sunday . 

Abdullahi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, says the victim, Ibrahim Lawan by name had since been moved to the hospital for medical attention and investigation launched into the matter.

Recall that a 32-year-old Kano man , Ahmad Aliyu who had been locked in a room by his father and stepmother for over seven years, has been rescued by police. 

Aliyu, a resident of Farawa Babban Layi in Mariri quarters of Kumbotso local government area in Kano metropolis.
