COVID-19: We Distributed Palliative Materials Worth Over N4m To Kano Residents – Imam Raja

The Ahmadiyyah Muslim Organisation of Nigeria has reiterated commitments to render better services and assistance to the vulnerable and less privileged people in Kano and Nigeria at large, through distributing food items, medical support among others.

Kano state leader of the movement, Imam Raja Ather made this known during a press conference on Tuesday.

Raja recalled that their organization has distributed relief materials to thousands of households in Kano during the pandemic period.

“We have so far spent over N4 million for the food items and other stuff we shared to Kano residents and this is the amount we gathered within ourselves, within the members of the movement to purchase these relief materials.” He said.

Imam Raja who emphasized that their organization focuses only on catering the needs of people and finding lasting solution to their problems, said that they have however constructed 18 boreholes in Kano, 15 hospitals in Nigeria and over 15 thousand mosques worldwide.

AR Salami who is the director Board of Ahmadiyya College said that the need of the time is to move towards peace. Our motto is “Love for All Hatred for None.”

Press Secretary of the movement, Mr. Nuruddin said that Jamaat will always stick to help the vulnerable in the society.
