FRSC spokesman decorated with new rank

Bisi Kazeem, spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has been promoted to the rank of assistant corps marshal.

Kazeem was decorated at a ceremony at the FRSC national headquarters at the federal capital territory (FCT) on Monday.

Speaking at the ceremony, Boboye Oyeyemi, corps marshal, said it has been the culture of the corps to give “due recognition” to deserving officers.

Oyeyemi commended all the promoted officers for their efforts.

“The seasons of reward have never been delayed nor let go without due recognition of the individuals who have continued to strive to make the corps a best global practice sustainable corporate organisation,” a statement quoted him as saying.

The corps marshal said the promotion has shown that working hard is rewarding.

Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, Kazeem said they was grateful to God for the promotion and the opportunity to serve in new capacities.

Describing the promotion as transparent and objective, he pledged more commitment to his duties as an FRSC officer.

“Every promotion comes with more responsibilities and this particular one, no doubt, will certainly propel them to work harder to ensure that all lives are saved on the road,” he said.
