The Kano state Commissioner For Education Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi Kiru And the chairman taskforce commitee for the Repatriation Of Almajiri pupils to their Various states says over two thousand Almjairi pupils Deported from other states to Kano who were suspected to be covid 19 patients have been Quarantined and ready to be reunited with their families.
Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi Kiru stated this when he lead delegation of women in Da’awah,civil society Organisation and other stakeholders who inspected two quarantine centers at Kiru and Karaye Respectively.
He said the Almajiri pupils were isolated to ensure that they were in good health condition before they are sent back to their states of Origin.
Mohammad Sanusi Kiru maintained That basic social amenities coupled with hygenic feeding was strictly observed in all the three quarantine centers aimed at ensuring that they were in good health condition.
He said Northern Governor’s have agreed to Deport Almajiri pupils to their states of Origin with the Aim of curtailing the spread of covid 19.
“We have Deported hundreds Of Almajiri to many northern states and we’re Recieved by their state governments .
Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi Kiru maintained that in the Next two to three days to come deportation of the Quarantined Almajiri pupils would commenced in era Earnest.
He noted that those deported from other states to Kano state who indegenes of the state would be interested into the new established Almajiri Boarding schools initiated by the Ganduje’s Administration.
The commissioner explained both Quranic And western Education would be tought in the Almajiri Boarding schools aimed at ensuring that the pupils became beneficial to the society.
He added that both feeding and health care service of the pupils studying in the Almajiri Boarding schools would be provided free by Kano state government
